Photos Moms Actually Exist In (And Why That Matters More Than You Think)
Moms are usually the ones taking the photos.
They’re documenting birthdays.
First days of school.
Saturday mornings.
Vacations.
Milestones.
But when you scroll back through your camera roll, how many photos are you actually in (that aren’t selfies)?
Your children don’t see the things you critique.
They don’t see tired eyes.
Or the extra 15 pounds.
Or the outfit you second-guessed.
They see YOU.
Your laugh.
Your hands.
The way you hold them.
The way you look at them.
The way you make them feel.
Years from now, those are the photos that will matter.
Not the perfectly styled ones.
The ones where you existed in the frame.
That’s why I keep sessions relaxed.
That’s why movement matters.
Because one day, your kids will look back and say:
She was there.
(And so was your mom.)
Don’t wait for the “perfect” version of yourself.
Your kids already see the perfect one.
